Federico Valverde, who plays a central midfielder for Real Madrid, is in manager Xavi Alonso’s plans.
The former Bayer Leverkusen head coach sees Valverde being utilised in multiple positions, from midfield to wings.
He played 36 times in La Liga last season and scored six goals too. Valverde joined Real Madrid in 2017. Other than the 2017-18 season, where he made a loan spell at Deportivo La Coruna, he has always been a part of the Spanish giants ever since.
With Luka Modric leaving the club after the end of the 2024-25 season, Valverde has become a key player for Real and their new manager, Xavi Alonso.
Valverde, who made his Urgury debut in 2017, has scored eight times in 69 outings for his national team.
