Victor Osimhen is, in many football pundits’ eyes, one of the best strikers in the world.
Due to his dispute with Napoli, he spent the 2024-25 season on loan at Galatasaray. The Nigerian international worked well for the Turkish side and made things work well.
He has rejected moves to Saudi clubs at a lucrative amount. But then, moving Galatasaray, as per some media reports from Europe, does not sound well. It is because the Turkish league is good, but not top five in Europe.
His release clause is £65m, which the Turkish champions are ready to pay. The amount is something most top European clubs would pay when there is a shortage of top strikers.
However, his wage demand ought to be the biggest reason behind clubs not moving and getting him.
Osimhen moving to Turkey might end his aim of winning things in England and other top leagues.
