Sergio Conceicao’s impact at AC Milan was not able to make a fruitful outcome, as the Italian giants have parted ways with him just six months after getting the job.
Many reports are suggesting the return of Massimiliano Allegri, who was a part of the mega Italian side from 2010 to 2014.
Before joining Milan, Conceicao spent six years at Porto, winning 11 titles. Even with the Italian side, he won the Italian Super Cup during the early part of his career.
However, in the domestic league, they were not able to shine well. AC Milan finished eighth in Serie A with 63 points in 38 games.
Milan said: “The club would like to thank Sergio and his staff for their commitment, professionalism and dedication in leading the team in recent months.
“The Rossoneri family bids farewell to the coach who contributed to the conquest of the 50th trophy in Milan’s history, wishing him the best for his future.”
Six months ago, Conceicao was seen as the next great manager. But overall, inconsistent performances led to the sacking.
