Kepa Arrizabalaga has become a backup keeper at Chelsea. In the 2010s, he was seen as one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
Possibly costing £5m, Arsenal are keen to sign him as a backup (per Sky Sports). Arrizabalaga has long lost his spot as a goalkeeper for Spain. And even at the Gunners, he will be serving as a second-choice goalkeeper.
Mikel Arteta’s side are possibly looking at Arrizabalaga as a decent option in case David Raya gets injured.
He might be used well in the cup competitions, as Arsenal are playing in every possible competition next season.
Arrizabalaga spent last season on loan at Bournemouth, where he led the team from the back 31 times.
His impact was crucial in the Cherries’ ninth place in the Premier Legaue last season.
