Kaoru Mitoma has caught the interest of the German champions Bayern Munich. However, as per Sky Sports, Mitoma wants to stay at Brighton and sign a new deal. T
he Japanese international has his current deal until the 2027 summer with the English side.
Mitoma has scored 20 goals in 88 Premier League appearances for the Seagulls. He is capable of playing as a left winger and midfielder.
He is 28 years old, so the move to Bayern is possibly the last chance for him to play for a massive side and win silverware. Knowing that, it seems surprising if Mitoma wants to stay at his present club.
Kaoru Mitoma made his debut for Japan in 2021, scoring eight goals in 27 appearances. He has also played for Japan U21 and U23 sides.
