Jadon Sancho came from the bench and scored a goal in Chelsea beating Real Betis 4-1 in the UEFA Conference League final early this week.
Sancho joined the Blues in the 2024 summer on a season-long contract long loan from Manchester United.
As the former England international did not optimise his chances well early in the season, Chelsea decided to pay a £5m penalty rather than sign him for £25m.
However, his recent performances might work for Chelsea to make a deal with the English winger (as per i Sport).
In the early 2020s, Sancho was considered the next big thing. However, things have changed 360 degrees as inconsistency has made an average footballer.
However, a crucial goal in making Chelsea win the Conference League might work for him to stay in West London and fight for a place next season.
As if Chelsea do not keep him, he will go back to Man Unied; where there are plans to offload him this summer.
