Chelsea have completed the transfer of Liam Delap for £30m.
Delap had a productive 2024-25 Premier Legaue, where he scored 12 times in 37 appearances for Ipswich Town; who got relegated to the Championship.
The Blues have put faith in the 22-year-old striker to make their number nine position work decently.
The former Manchester City striker has signed a six-year deal with the West London side.
Chelsea beat Manchester United, Newcastle United and Everton to sign England Under-21 striker.
Not getting ample chances at Man City led Delap to join Ipswich in the summer of 2024. And a season later, he has made a big move at Chelsea.
The Blues will play in the Champions Legaue next season, as they finished in the first five spots in the PL last season.
This could also be a key season behind Chelsea being able to get Delap.
