Crystal Palace are paying £2m for getting left-back Borna Sosa from Ajax.
Palace are being known in recent years for getting players at cheaper cost, making them polish and then sell ahead for greater sums.
Getting potential greats of the future played a massive role in making them win the FA Cup last season. Sosa is 27 years old, playing for Croatia’s first team since 2021.
He has scored two goals in 26 outings for his national team. From 2018 to 2023, he played for VfB Stuttgart.
Two million pounds for a 27-year-old is not huge, but effective overall.
