Arsenal and Manchester United are two clubs chasing the signatures of Viktor Gyokeres. As per Mirror, the Swedish striker might go on a strike if Sporting do not make it easy for him to go.
Last month, Gyokeres indicated that there was a gentleman’s agreement with Sporting. However, the club officially declined any such dealings.
There is no clear picture yet about what Sporting want in return for selling the 27-year-old striker. It might make the overall situation hard for Gyokeres in the ongoing summer transfer market.
Both Arsenal and Man United are desperately in need of a striker, with high chances of joining either one for the former Coventry City number nine.
To prepare things better, the Gunners or the Red Devils might want to make the signing done well before the new season starts in mid-August.
