Napoli are hopeful of securing Alejandro Garnacho for £45m, according to The Mirror. The Italian champions had shown interest in the Argentine international last month, too, but were not able to get the deal done.
Selling Garnacho for £45m will be a 100 per cent profit for Manchester United, as he came from their youth academy.
Garnacho has declined and reported ego issues. Hence, the Red Devils are keen to sell him despite knowing he could become a star in football in future.
Man United need money to clear the Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR), and selling Garnacho would make it easier to manage things overall.
Napoli boss Antonio Conte might be the manager who could work with Garnacho better and reshape his career like it was in the sumer of 2024.
