Rafael Leao has emerged as one of the top transfer targets for Liverpool and Barcelona.
As per Teamtalk, Liverpool are desperate to sign the player. However, Spain’s Barcelona are also keen to sign the forward.
In 25 Serie A games this season, Leao has scored six goals and six assists. In 10 Champions League apps, Leao has scored three times.
The player operates from the left-hand side in the wings but is capable of scoring as a striker too.
His present deal with AC Milan are going to expire in the summer of 2028. Leao joined AC Milan from Lille in 2019.
In 189 Serie A apps for AC Milan, the Portuguese international has scored 53 goals.
In 2021, he got his first senior game for Portugal. In 37 apps, he has scored five times for the national side.
The Reds are keen to sell Luis Diaz, making them look for other options to replace him.
Paris Saint-Germain are also another side aiming to add Leao to the squad. As the summer transfer market is fast approaching, Leao has become a very crucial player to sign for a host of European sides.
