Aaron Ramsdale, who is one of the top English goalkeepers, has high chances of joining West Ham United for £20m from Southampton; who got relegated from the Premier Legaue last season.
Ramsdale, 27, moved to the Saints in the summer of 2024 from Arsenal. However, in his first season with Southampton, they had to face relegation to the Championship.
Ramsdale was at Arsenal from 2021 to 2024. But he lost his place to David Raya. Ramsdale’s addition might help the Hammers to be stable next season in the PL and aim to finish in the first half of the table.
Ramsdale made his England debut in 2021 and has appeared five times for his national team.
As the former Sheffield United goalkeeper won’t play in the Championship, a move to London seems possible in the ongoing summer transfer market.
