The Spanish international is not making a move to Arsenal means Thomas Partey’s contract extension becomes crucial. Partey’s present deal is set to expire at Arsenal at the end of this month.
The Gunners finished second in the PL again under manager Mikel Arteta. Hence, it has become a must for him to win something productive next season. And Zubimendi is one of Arsenal’s top targets this summer.

Zubimendi has been one of the best midfielders in La Liga since 2022. And not getting him might hurt Arsenal, who reached the semis in the Champions Legaue last season and were knocked out by Paris Saint-Germain.
