Everton have joined the battle with Leeds United for the signing of striker Callum Wilson.
The England international’s contract is up at Newcastle United and is available as a free agent in the 2025 summer transfer market.
Last season, he played 18 times in the PL but was not able to score a goal.
Wilson has a decent goal-scoring track for Newcastle, adding 47 goals in 117 domestic league appearances.
Despite being 33 years old, Wilson has not lost his goal-scoring touch. However, he has been injury-prone throughout his career.
Leeds must look at Wilson to give them the boost on their PL comeback.
Everton, on the other hand, might be looking for him to take the next step under the manager David Moyes.
