Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has expressed his views on Jack Grealish’s lifestyle, by saying he would judge the England international with his impact “on the pitch.”
Grealish was seen chilling out with his friends at a social club earlier this week. Later, on the same evening, as per Mail’s reports, the star forward was stopped in Newcastle enjoying a night out.
These events took place last Sunday, which is a day after Manchester City’s FA Cup win over Plymouth. It was a game where Grealish did play the whole game.
Mail Online even said that the 29-year-old was talking to locals, taking pictures and more.
If one sees the time since Dec 4, Grealish has got the chance to start just one Premier League game.
Guardiola was asked about Grealish’s night out, he said: “A day off is a day off.
“They have private lives to do whatever they want. I’m not going to control what they do in their private life.
“I judge what I see on the pitch, the training sessions and the performances in the game.”
As many of Manchester City’s players are not giving smooth best this season, Guardiola is looking to add new players to the squad.
Omar Marmoush is the player he added for £59m from Eintracht Frankfurt in the winter transfer market.
