Lamine Yamal, who is in the Ballon d’Or conversation at the age of 17, has given Barcelona a mega boost by accepting a new deal until the 2031 summer.
In the 2024-25 season, Yamal helped Barcelona win La Liga and the Copa del Rey. In the Champions Legaue, they reached the semi-final stage where Inter Milan outdid them in the second leg.
Yamal is known for his ability to create chances and score goals. Not to forget that in the 2024 summer, he played one of the key roles in Spain winning the Euros.
18 goals and 25 assists in 55 matches in the 2024-25 season in all competitions tell the worth of Yamal. Many experts even say a 17-year-old Yamal is better than Lionel Messi at 17.
