Manchester United have signed Joshua Zirkzee. The Dutch international has joined the Red Devils in the 2024 summer.
Man United have decided to keep him at the club for the 2025-26 season, as per Corriere dello Sport.
From 2019 to 2022, he was a part of Bayern Munich. However, things did not work out for him. And hence, he joined Bologna in 2022. He played two seasons for the Italian side and scored 13 times in 52 Serie A games.
Last season, the 24-year-old scored thrice only in the Premier Legaue but had a decent impact in the back end of the last season.
Zirkzee can play as a false nine, other than being a striker or forward. This is where his capabilities could be used to be an effective player next season.
Last year, he made his Netherlands debut too. Zirkzee has a strong ability to create chances and score goals. This is something that makes him a worthy squad member.
