Manchester United are preparing a move to get Pedro Goncalves in the upcoming 2025 summer transfer market (per Teamtalk).
Goncalves is a player for Man United boss Ruben Amorim knows him well from his Sporting days. It might turn out to be one of those signings where the Portuguese manager will be confident of making a better impact as he knows him better.
Goncalves’ present deal with Sporting CP will expire in the summer of 2027. He mostly likes to play in the left-wing position. However, five goals in 14 Liga Portugal appearances show that Amorim might have extreme confidence in Goncalves.
Having made his Portugal debut in 2021, the 21-year-old has played just three times for his national team. It tells that this signing can be hit or miss for a manager who is under a lot of pressure due to poor form in the Premier League this season.
