Napoli, who won the Serie A title in a close contest with Inter Milan last season, will sign either Alejandro Garnacho or Jack Grealish (per Sun). However, they are not ready to pay over £45m for either player.
Garnacho’s time at Manchester United seems over as manager Ruben Amorim does not fancy him much.
The other side of Manchester sees Grealish in the same terms, where the England international had another poor season at Man City (2024-25).
Grealish might see the chance of joining Napoli and look at it as a way to open his doors for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America.
Argentine Garnacho might see it as a move to revive his career, looking to the next step. Napoli’s current manager is Antonio Conte. Hence, a move to join the Italian champions might work for both Garnacho and Grealish.
With Grealish, Conte would get experience. Meanwhile, Garnacho brings the fresh legs and ability to grow with time.
