Paul Robinson praised Gianluigi Donnarumma, who is having a dream season at Paris Saint-Germain. The Italian international has the chance to make PSG become the European champions for the first time.
Donnarumma, who is just 26 years old, has made 215 appearances for AC Milan before making a move to PSG in 2021.
Even for the French champions, he has appeared 103 times in Ligue 1, leaving other cup events aside.
In last week’s UCL clash semi-final first-leg in North London, PSG won the game 1-0 against Arsenal and kept the clean sheet.
It has given PSG an advantage over the Gunners ahead of the second leg on Wednesday. The Italian international has the chance to play his first UCL final.
In terms of winning the European glory, neither Arsenal nor PSG have won the prestigious title.
Robinson, who is a former England goalkeeper, told BBC Sport about what makes Donnarumma a great goalkeeper.
Robinson said: “He’s massive, but his positional awareness in his box is excellent.”
PSG, who have already won the French top-flight, have the chance to win their first European treble. They are in the UCL semis and the French Cup final.
