Phil Giles, who is the director of Brentford, has put a massive shocker for Manchester United fans by making it clear that Bryan Mbeumo might stay at the club for the 2025-26 season.
Because of scoring 20 times in the Premier League last season, Mbeumo has become one of the in-demand wingers in the world. Hence, Manchester United have made him one of the key targets this summer.
Giles told Sky Sports: “There has been significant interest in Bryan. It’s been well documented and publicised about his current preference.”
“I think, from what I understand, he’s also happy to stay at Brentford next year as well.”
Mbeumo is a rare winger who can score 20 goals in the PL season. Hence, the overall demand has improved. The statement could have been made by Giles to put extra pressure on the top clubs to receive better sums in transfer fee.
