The 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup will take place in Brazil. This will be a landmark moment for Latin America, hosting the World Cup (women’s) for the first time.
Now FIFA has announced the eight venues to stage the mega event after two years. From June 24 to July 25 2027, 32 teams worldwide will battle for the ultimate glory.
64 matches will be shared between the Maracana Stadium, Mineirao Stadium, National Stadium, Castelao Arena, Beira-Rio Stadium, Pernambuco Arena, Fonte Nova Arena and Itaquera Arena.
FIFA president Gianni Infantino said: “From samba to frevo, from stunning beaches to cosmopolitan cities, the world will experience the energy, colour and warmth that only Brazil can offer.”
“We will continue to work closely with the selected host cities on the exciting journey ahead of us, creating unforgettable moments in each of their stadiums in 2027, and ensuring that this tournament has a major and widespread positive impact.”
For the first time in women’s football history, 32 teams will battle for the ultimate glory.
