Any game of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) from now, in the Indian Premier League 2025, will not get covered on R Ashwin’s YouTube channel.
Prasanna Agoram; who is a well-known cricket data analyst, was on Ashwin’s YouTube channel criticising Ruturaj Gaikwad’s side selecting Noor Ahmad knowing Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja are already in the squad.
As CSK have lost three of their four IPL games, winning just one in the 2025 edition, the team officials have decided to prevent Ashwin’s YouTube channel from covering CSK games this season.
A note came on Ashwin’s channel: “Given the nature of the discussions on this forum over the last week, we want to be mindful of how things can be interpreted and have chosen to step away from covering CSK games, both previews and reviews, for the rest of this season.”

Prasanna’s video on CSK did receive hate from the fans on social media. As a result, it was taken down.
Meanwhile, CSK are hours away from facing the Punjab Kings at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium (08 April, Tuesday).
