It is official now, Trent Alexander-Arnold has decided to leave Liverpool after the end of this season. On 30 June, Trent’s contract expires with the Reds. The decision was made a week later after Liverpool won their second Premier League title.
Real Madrid are the reported club where the England full-back is most likely to make a move.
Alexander-Arnold came onto social media and said: “After 20 years at Liverpool Football Club, now is the time for me to confirm that I will be leaving at the end of the season.”
“This is easily the hardest decision I’ve ever made in my life.”
The 26-year-old right-back joined the Liverpool football academy in 2004 and made his first appearance for the Reds in 2016 (Premier League).
Not just making LFC win two PL titles (2019-20, 2024-25), he has won every title to win with his childhood club has won. It includes even the 2019 Champions League title.
