Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim would have words with Alejandro Garnacho as he seemed unhappy about getting substituted in the recently scheduled Manchester United game, where they beat Ipswich 3-2.
The game occurred this midweek, where the Red Devils added three crucial points to their Premier League points tally.
When there were just two minutes left to finish the first half of the game, Amorim substituted Garnacho for full-back Noussair Mazraoui. The Argentina international did not find it right and went straight to the dressing room.
As it was raining hard at Old Trafford, so one might have thought that Garnacho went to the dressing room to take his shirt off.
However, there was no sign of him sitting on the bench for the second half.
After the game, manager Amorim said: “I am going to talk with Garnacho about that.”
It was Dec 2024 when the 20-year-old winger was dropped out of the game against Manchester City at Etihad Stadium alongside Marcus Rashford.
Amorim told the media back then the decision was taken due to the poor output of star wingers in training. However, Garnacho did make a comeback next week to the squad.
Garnacho’s form this season is not so great with just three goals in 26 PL appearances. And then there is seeming something bad happening between the young player and the manager.
