Thomas Partey, who is enjoying a decent season at Arsenal, might return to Atletico Madrid this summer (per Marca).
Partey left Atletico for Arsenal in 2020. His contract with the Gunners expires on 30 June 2025. The 31-year-old holding midfielder has scored four times, the highest in a PL season, in 30 Premier League appearances this season.
Partey was a part of Atletico Madrid from 2013 to 2020. Last season, the Ghana international played 14 times in the English top-flight for the Gunners due to injury problems.
Partey was a part of Atletico winning the Spanish top-flight title in the 2020-21 season.
Partey made his debut for Ghana in 2016, scoring 15 times in 53 outings.
