Eddie Howe has told the Newcastle United board not to sell their established players (per Teamtalk) in the summer.
Howe, who is recovering from illness at a hospital in Newcastle, led the Magpies to win the EFL Cup in March 2025. Newcastle beat Liverpool 2-1 to win their first major title in the 21st century.
Players like Alexander Isak, Bruno Guimaraes and others are being linked to move away from Newcastle this summer.
Newcastle United are fighting for the Champions League spot, making a situation that can keep players at the club beyond this season.
Howe took over as Newcastle boss in 2021. And in March 2025, he helped the club win massive silverware.
Newcastle are fourth in the PL table, earning 56 points in 31 games.
One of the players the English manager would love to keep is striker Isak, who has scored 20 times in 28 PL matches this season.
