Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick is taking positive despite not being able to make a sound impact in the second-leg of the Champions League last-eight on Tuesday.
Borussia Dortmund had a better second-leg, than the first (last week), scoring three and conceding one.
Barcelona’s only goal at Dortmund came as Ramy Bensebaini scored an own goal. Serhou Guirassy scored a hat-trick and made the German sdie finish the UCL season on a fine note.
However, Barcelona won the first leg 4-0 last week. As a result, they did win the two-legged tie 5-3.
Despite reaching the UCL semis, Hansi Flick said that players were not happy with their performance in Germany.
He said: “There wasn’t much euphoria in the locker room either; and I reminded them in the locker room that we’re in the semi-finals. And then things changed a bit, and they became happier.”
Barcelona are also fighting Real Madrid in the domestic top-flight season, having earned 71 points in 31 games. FCB are four points ahead of second-placed Real.
