Just like in 2024, the Indiana Pacers have reached the NBA’s Eastern Conference Finals.
Rick Carlisle’s side beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 114-105. It took them five matches to win the best-of-seven semi-final 4-1.
Tyrese Haliburton did shine for Indiana, scoring 31 points and eight assists.
Indiana coach Rick Carlisle said: “The winning team writes the script.”
“This was one of the best teams in the league. I’m sorry their season had to end like this. They had the perfect season, and we came along and were hot at the right time.”
Next up, the Pacers will face the Boston Celtics or the New York Knicks. The Celtics hold a 3-1 lead over the Knicks and are one game away from meeting the Pacers in the final.
In 2024, the Pacers got outdone by the Celtics in the Eastern finals.
