Three of the major Real Madrid players are being fined, but there is no hurdle in not playing against Arsenal in the Champions League quarter-finals.
In the last-16 of the UCL (March 2025), Real Madrid edged past local rivals Atletico Madrid on penalties.
As Real won the match, Antonio Rudiger, Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr and Dani Ceballos teased the home fans at Atletico.
As a result, the UEFA did open an investigation into this issue. However on Friday, Vinicius was cleared by the European football governing body.
But his teammates were fined guilty for breaking the rules.
Mbappe and Rudiger were given a one-match ban, along with fines of £25,000 (30,000 euros) and £35,000 (40,000 euros) respectively.
Ceballos did also receive a fine of £17,000 (20,000 euros).
Carlo Ancelotti’s side will face Arsenal in the first leg in London on 8 April before welcoming them to the Bernabeu on 16 April.
