Ahead of the second leg of the Champions League semi-finals, Martin Odegaard thinks that Arsenal will need to present a collective performance on Wednesday to unlock the doors of the final.
Not to forget that in last week’s first leg in North London, Arsenal lost the game 1-0 against Paris Saint-Germain.
As beating the French champions might be hard, the Norway international wants the Gunners to play like a team to make things work in Paris.
“We’re disappointed now, but we have to move on and be strong and stick together and prepare for a massive game,” Odegaard said.
“It’s a massive game. That’s the good thing. When you’re disappointed now and you’re angry and frustrated, you can use all those emotions into Wednesday.
“We know what we’re playing for. We have to stick together and create energy and be ready.”
It would be hard to describe which team the UCL title means more to as both of them have not become the European champions yet.
As the Gunners are out of all the other title-winning races, the UCL title is the only hope for Arsenal to win silverware this season.
