Antonio Cordero, who is an 18-year-old Spanish winger, is getting interest from several football sides in Europe.

However, (as per Fabrizio Romano) Newcastle United have outdone Barcelona and Real Madrid to get Cordero.

Cordero has scored five goals and provided six assists in 32 La Liga 2 appearances this season. He made his professional football debut at Malaga in 2023. He is currently a part of Spain’s 19 side too, having played for the Under 18 team already.

Cordero, who was born on 14 November 2006 in Jerez de la Frontera (Spain), is known for his speed with the ball as a winger.

Newcastle are fighting for the Champions League spot, so joining the Magpies can give them a chance to play games in Europe.

Romano is known for giving accurate transfer updates mostly. This is why his words are being valued a lot overall.
