At the 2025 CJ Cup Byron Nelson, Scottie Scheffler managed to win his first title of 2025. Texas-bound event saw Scheffler finish 31 under, just eight shots to score an eight-under-par 63.
He beat Erik van Rooyen to win this award. At the 2025 Masters, the American golfer finished fourth. He even matched the record of the lowest 72-hole score in PGA ever.
For the 14th time in his career, Scheffler has a PGA title. It was a special moment for Scheffler, winning the title in front of his home support.
He said: “I was inspired and very fortunate to be in that position.
“I played some good golf and kept myself in a good position all week.”
The mega victory at home has lifted Scheffler to execute things well in the coming events.
