Chelsea’s former defender Marc Guehi might return to his old club again in the summer of 2025, with many reports suggesting that the giant English club has set the eyes on the £70m-rated defender.
The English defender came from the youth academy of the Blues, making his professional debut in 2019. However, from 2019 to 2021, he made two loan moves to Swansea City before joining Crystal Palace in 2021.
Now Guehi holds over 100 PL games experience. The 24-year-old made his England debut in 2022.
The Eagles have a contract with Guehi until the 2026 summer.
Despite getting interest from many PL rivals, Chelsea seems confident in signing Marc Guehi.
In 25 PL games this season, Chelsea have managed to get 43 points. They are standing in the sixth spot, with just one point behind fourth-placed Manchester City.
It means that Chelsea have a good window to qualify for the Champions League next season. This would make their task of getting Marc Guehi easier.
Guehi has represented Palace 24 times in the PL this season, scoring three goals.
