Kevin De Bruyne scored a crucial goal in the 35th minute, leading Manchester City to a 1-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Etihad Stadium on Friday.
These three points have benefited City to be in the Champions League race. 65 points in 35 matches have placed them third in the PL table.
It was De Bruyne’s fourth PL goal of the season. The Belgian football legend feels that he can still operate at the highest level.
The 33-year-old attacking midfielder, in April, decided to leave Man City after 10 years of service.
However, there is no confirmation about his next move. After winning the game for the Citizens, De Bruyne told Sky Sports: “I don’t know about the future unfortunately.”
“I have shown I can still play here, otherwise I don’t do what I do these last four or five weeks.
“A lot of team-mates have spoken to me, they are sad also that I have to go. It goes like this in life, but the way I am performing is the way I should be.
“I just try to play as well as I can. I have one game left here. I try to do my job as always and I did that. I am proud of what I am doing.”
De Bruyne is a legend at Manchester City and is being seen as one of the best Premier League players ever.
