Florian Wirtz is a player attracting attention from England’s Manchester City and Spain’s Real Madrid.
However, as per Bild, Wirtz is looking to join Bayern Munich ahead of City and Real. The 22-year-old German made a move to Bayer Leverkusen from their academy in 2020.
And in the 2023-24 season, he played an amazing role to make Leverkusen win the Bundesliga title ahead of Bayern Munich.
Even this season, they gave a very good fight to Bayern in the domestic league title race. The German international has scored 16 goals and 13 assists in 43 appearances in all competitions this season for Leverkusen, showing an all-around approach overall.
Florian Wirtz made his Germany debut in 2021, scoring six times in 29 matches.
Wirtz has shown skills in scoring goals and creating chances, making him an on-demand attacking midfielder.
