India cricket legend Cheteshwar Pujara is impressed with KL Rahul, who is in great form in the Indian Premier Legaue 2025.
Rahul, while playing against his former side, Lucknow Super Giants, scored an unbeaten 57 of 42 balls and led the Delhi Capitals to win the game by eight wickets.
Rahul’s consistency is one of the main reasons behind DC winning six of the opening eight matches in the Indian Premier League 2025.
In seven IPL games this season, Rahul has scored 323 runs. Against the LSG, the 33-year-old did complete his 5,000 IPL runs too.
Pujara acknowledged the contribution of KL and said: “Just move on, don’t carry any baggage from the past. It’s good to move on, which will also help him play well for DC and even for the Indian team.”
He added: “KL is a mature player. Last couple of years, he’s been batting well. He doesn’t want to think about the past.”
Delhi will next face an in-form Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Sunday.
The victory will make DC’s chances of reaching into the play-offs even better.
