However, England have not done anything major under his guidance.
He told a British media platform: “We’re working from a position of strength but now’s the time where we shoot for the stars.”
England have the India series and other crucial events coming in the second half of 2025. Starting to get the right touch will make them ready for the 2027 50-over World Cup and other events.
