Casamiro is one of the key signings that AC Milan want to do this summer, as per Fichajes.
The 33-year-old midfielder joined Manchester United in 2022. The first season at the club was good for the former Real Madrid midfielder, where in 28 PL appearances, he scored four times.
However in the 2023-24 season, Casamiro made just 25 apps. Injuries and lack of quality play did not help the Brazilian to give his best for the Red Devils.
And in this season too, the fans of Man United do not seem too impressed with the former Sao Paulo holding midfielder.
His present deal with MU will last until the summer of 2026. It means selling Casamiro will help Man United to get some transfer fee.
The Italian side AC Milan feel that Casamiro can still be fit for Serie A as they are not doing well in the Italian top-flight, with 41 points in 26 matches (eighth on the table).
United paid £60 million, plus £10 million in add-ons, to add Casamiro to the squad in 2022. However, he has not been able to shine at Old Trafford as he did for Real Madrid from 2013 to 2022.
Casamiro has appeared just 17 times in the English top-flight this season, with scoring just one goal.
