In Major League Baseball, a shocking incident took place as a fan from the stands fell over 20 feet to the ground.
The sad event happened at a Pittsburgh Pirates match at PNC Park, while they were battling against the Chicago Cubs.
As the game stopped for 10 minutes, both teams’ medical staff gave the fan first aid before getting admitted to Allegheny General Hospital.
Cubs manager Craig Counsell felt sad that such a thing happened to a fan.
He said: “I’m thinking about his family and him right now.”
“Obviously scary. I didn’t see it happen, but I saw it out there after the play. I just hope everything turns out OK.”
Andrew McCutchen, who is a Pirates star, also felt sad after seeing such a random life-taking event happen in front of his eyes.
McCutchen said: “Let us think about his loved ones and hug our families a little tighter tonight. I hope he pulls through.”
