Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, through his managers, has made it clear of plans to offload 200 professional positions at the giant club.
In 2024, 250 members had to leave the club due to a cost-cutting program.
Ratcliffe, a core United fan, wants the club to run professionally while maintaining the balance sheet.
The Red Devils chief executive Omar Berrada did tell the staff on Monday that there is a mega transformation plan ahead.
The 13-time Premier League winners are struggling on and off the pitch to make things stable. In the 2024-25 season, Man United have lost 12 of their 26 PL games. They have added just 30 points only in the English top-flight.
As most of United’s signings in the past few years have not worked as well as expected; hence, these cost-cutting plans can help them to invest where they wish that can make best outcomes.
They won the PL title last in the 2012-13 season. This season, they have just won 8 times in 26 PL games.
