Novak Djokovic will perform in the Indian Wells under the coaching of his former rival Andy Murray. In 2025, it seems that the 24-time major champion is competing at the ATP Masters event with full strength.
As per Murray’s team, the tennis legend just went to the United States on Monday.
The main events of the Indian Wells 2025 start on 19 March. However, at the Qatar Open in Feb, Djokovic went out of the tournament in the first round. However back then, Murray was not taking charge of his coaching.
At the Australian Open in Jan, Djokovic started to take the coaching services of Murray; who did retire from tennis last year.
Djokovic did make it to the semis of the Aus Open 2025. However, a hamstring injury led Germany’s Alexander Zverev to reach the final.
“It’s indefinite in terms of how long we are going to work together but we agreed we are going to work most likely in the States and then some clay-court tournaments and see how it goes after that,” Djokovic said.
It would be great to see how these legends working together can bring the best out of Djokovic in 2025.
