Arne Slot’s Liverpool seem to have had a massive summer, with some footballers leaving and others making moves to Anfield.
As per Bild, Borussia Dortmund’s Nico Schlotterbeck is the latest player the Reds want to sign in the 2025 summer.
Schlotterbeck plays a centre-back, a position where Slot is looking to push for new arrivals. In the 2022 summer, Schlotterbeck joined Dortmund from SC Freiburg. And now the German defender is a regular defender for Dortmund.
His present deal lasts until the 2027 summer. Liverpool got knocked out in the Champions League by Paris Saint-Germain 4-1 on penalties in the round of 16 on Tuesday.
However, they are the leading side to win the Premier League in the first season of Slot’s as the club’s manager.
