With the everyday reports of Rasmus Hojlund leaving Manchester United this summer hitting the European media, it appears as if the period of the Danish international is coming to an end after just two seasons.
United have failed in the Premier League this season, holding 16th position after 36 games. However, a poor season in the PL has not stopped them from reaching the final of the Europa League.
The 22-year-old striker has contributed four goals in 30 domestic league outings this season for MU. It was far behind even in his debut season, where he scored 10 times in 30 PL appearances.
United are in search of a better transfer market, where qualifying for the Champions Legaue via Europa League victory might help. But as per the Telegraph, the Red Devils have to sell before buying a new player.
With the MUFC desperate to add a new number nine, the chances of the Danish international staying next season appear low.
He cost United £64 million plus £8 million in add-ons (performance-related) in 2013. Back then, he was seen as a long-term investment.
As he has not grown much overall, Hojlund might be playing for a new club in the 2025-26 season.
