Ruben Amorim came to Manchester United from Sporting with hopes. However, his arrival in the middle of this season has not turned so well. There are fans of the club who see no hope with the new head coach.

Amorim’s arrival at Man United, on 11 November 2024, was celebrated by the club’s stakeholders. However, he has won just 11 of his first 24 in charge at the Red Devils, losing nine and drawing four.

It was not even expected there by the end of Feb 2025 there would have been talks of him getting sacked. As per top media reports, it would cost Man United £20m if Amorim gets sacked along with his support staff.

Amorim is facing problems with some of the players at the club, who he thinks do not train well. His arrival made Marcus Rashford join AC Milan on loan until the end of the season. However in his first four PL appearances for Villa, the England international has not scored a goal.

Amorim is in major battles at MU from top to bottom. However, sections are suggesting that Amorim might get this summer transfer market to get the players he wants in the squad.

In 27 PL games, just 33 points this season shows the downgrade nature of the Red Devils, who have won the competition record 13 times.

It was the 2012-13 season when MU won the PL last time. With the club’s current form, it would be hard to see who would take the charge if Amorim leaves the job.
