Kane Williamson; one of the best and most respected cricketers in the world, takes up the role of commentator for the Indian Premier League 2025.
No PL side picked Williamson for the 2025 season in the mega auction, that took place in Saudi Arabia in 2024.
Williamson, along with several foreign commentators, will start the work on Saturday when Kolkata Knight Riders face Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Eden Gardens on Saturday, March 22.
Williamson will work with Star Sports, for India-only feed in English.
Kane is an IPL legend, having served for Sunrisers Hyderabad from 2015 to 22. In 2016, Williamson played a mega role in making SRH win the IPL.
In 2023, he became the part of Gujarat Titans. However, the injury impacted his season right after the first game.
Williamson scored 2,128 in 77 innings in the IPL. It includes 18 half-centuries.
